Here we go, Week #1

A few online friends and I are doing a blog challenge. Every week, we post about what has been going on, and what is to come in the week ahead. I think it's a pretty good idea. I laugh my bottom off most days, but getting time to come downstairs and post about it is another story.

Now to rack my brain to remember all the funnies :)

The other day, Dylan and I were coloring in the living room, Jackson was sleeping and the ice machine dumped the ice into the bin in the freezer. Dylan gasped, looked up at me and said "refriderader POOPED mommy!!" And started laughing hysterically.

Somewhere along the line, he started saying "sure can!" He asks for a banana, I ask if I can have a bite. "Sure can" Then I peel it, take a bite, give it to him and he says "tank fu mommy." Awww...

Yesterday, he was chasing Hannah around, squealing and screaming the whole time. He did this for AT LEAST 45 minutes. It was so cute.

He also watched Bob the Builder for the first time in a long time yesterday. Later he was running around screaming "can we fix it? YEAH!!" over and over again. He gets SO excited about things. It's so cute.

Jackson is doing pretty good. We tried to start the wean process, off of Alimentum, to regular formula... big mistake. I only did it for 3 bottles, put 1 oz Similac in with 5 oz Alimentum, but he didn't take it well. He is still not back to being himself yet. It has been a little over a week and they say it can take up to 2 weeks for the milk proteins to get out of his little body. So I guess we will see how he is next week and may need to see Dr. D at the U again. Although we have an appt with Dr. T in a couple weeks for his 6 month check. I'll just have to see how it goes.

Yesterday, Dylan was down for a nap, so Jackson ad I were playing. (Since the boys quit napping at the same time...thanks guys!) I don't know that I have heard him laugh so hard. Everything I did was funny. I sat him on my shoulders and he grabbed my hair and thought it was so hilarious. I sat him on the couch and laid my head in his lap! SO funny! Then I was facing him and when he put his hand on my face, I pretended to take a bite. Chomp! He could barely handle it!

I know there were a couple more, but I'll have to come back with them!
